I hate racists! I’m a Filipina and I was so upset when I found out that a 7 year-old Filipino boy was reprimanded by a school administrator in CANADA for using a SPOON! And the worse part is they called the boy a “PIG!” Well guess what, those racists are worse than pigs! I’m not saying that all Canadians are racists, I’m only referring to those involved and to all the racists in the world! I bet you guys don’t even know how Filipinos have helped the world. Here are some Filipino inventions: FLOURESCENT LIGHT, YOYO, KARAOKE, MOON BUGGY, TOASTER and theBLACK BOX! Do you guys know that Enrique Iglesias’ mother is Spanish-Filipino, did you know that the singing voice behind Princess Jasmine and Mulan is a Filipina? Did you guys know that Monique Lhuillier( the fashion designer who designed Britney Spears’ wedding gown) is a Filipino and that APL from the Black EyEd Peas is a Filipino?! and that the head chef at NOBU is a Filipino?! Rob Schneider, Tia Carere, Lou Diamond Philipps have Filipino blood! and Robin Williams is married to a Filipina! You racists are sick people! God bless GOOD FOREIGNERS!

#997: Ok, let me try to understand this. A young boy in Canada is eating with a spoon and ended up in some trouble. They said he is a pig. I do not see where you get racism from that story. Ten to one you probably do not have all the fine little details of what really transpired of that incident with the boy and the spoon. Them calling him a pig has probably got more to do with his eating manners than with his race. He may have been shoveling food in his mouth like a crazy person or spilling it all over or just acting silly as kids do. Then again maybe they have a strong sense of using manners especially when you eat policy. Who Knows? I will tell you what I am sick of though and that is people who love to play the race card whenever they feel like it for whatever reason they can think of. Racism is real and it is out there in the world but to even turn such a trivial matter into a racism issue is just plain stupid. Believe me when I say there are serious cases of racism out in the world and turning little issues like this into a race deal is what makes people sick of of hearing about it and not taking any of it seriously especially when the case is serious. Grow up and stop playing a race card!!!

Suggest you don’t point an accusing finger at anyone, especially at us Filipinos because often when you do, you’ll notice your thumb pointing back at you. If you really come to know who we are, you will find that we are amongst the kindest and most tolerant people on earth, but that does not suggest we are cowards! To illustrate and for your educational benefit, we were also aerially attacked by the Japanese, just hours after they had bombed Pearl Harbor. From Dec 8, 1941 through May 5, 1942 we Filipinos fought a ready and superior Japanese Army, Navy and Air Force, why? Because we came to the defense of Americans that lived in the Philippines. Lots of them. Oh and by the way, we always called them by their first names!
During this period of World War II, 76,000 starving and sick American civilians and military were helped by Filipinos, many of whom fought to their death at a place called Bataan and another place called Los Banos where a lot of Filipino civilians’ women and children were slaughter in retribution for helping free Americans from internment camps. It is never ever brought up but it is considered one of the most successful Filipino-American rescue operations during the Pacific war. Verify it and look it up.
A great majority of the Philippine people mounted a remarkably effective resistance to the Japanese occupation. Investigations after the war found that over 260,000 Filipinos guerilla fighters most of whom armed only with machetes fought the Japanese, a larger number of Filipinos did so too, covertly in the anti-Japanese underground. All told, the superior Japanese army only controlled 12 of our then 48 provinces. Oh again and by the way, we’ve also fought along side American forces in Vietnam, Korea, and in practically every theatre of war that United States is in. Maybe this is why, the "pretty Filipina" feels compelled to defend a Filipino "especially a child" when she hears of one being slandered and called names, regardless. It is inherent in our "nationalism", as we don’t take kindly to bullies and for that matter, racists!
