   We were created in God’s own image. YET, the church has suppressed certain writings that were once considered holy scripture. These writings are called the “Apocrypha”. These are from authors such as St. Thomas, who quoted Jesus saying “If you don’t strip off all of your clothes and trample them under your feet, and be as little children, you shall not see the kingdom of Heaven.” In other words, our bodies ARE the image of god. Why then are we hiding them under clothing? In other words, Thomas was saying that Jesus was a nudist. But OMG, what if the church revealed this to everybody. The shame blahblahblah.

   The reason we are clothed is based upon the old covenant between us and god (old testament, see Moses). BUT Jesus came with a “new” covenant to set us free. He even said all the law falls under just these 2 commandments:

   1- You will love the lord your god with all your heart, soul, and mind;
   2- You will love your neighbor as yourself.

   So the real question is “What is love?”
   Read 1 Corinthians 13.

   Jesus said “there is no greater love than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends.” Self-sacrifice is that kind of love.

   But what’s the second greatest expression of love? What happens when we “make love” to another person? Isn’t sex one of the greatest expressions of love? Therefore, the second commandment says “love your neighbor AS yourself.” How do you love yourself? What is it that you do to express love of self? What’s the greatest expression of love of self? Wouldn’t that be called “masterbation”? So, then, having sex with your neighbor is considered the second commandment. Isn’t it?

   Honestly, if we lived our lives as sexless eunichs, we wouldn’t have any peace, no children, no families, no community, and thusly no church. Think about it. We were created as sexual beings. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER. If more people had sex in this world more often, we wouldn’t have no time for wars, and all the other bad stuff.

   The mainstream church teaches us that “sex is filthy, and sinful” only as a measure of control over their masses. In order for really religious people to NOT feel guilty about sex, they usually go to their pastor to “get permission” to marry and have sex. WTF IS THAT????? THAT’S BULLSHIT.

   Jesus said, go fuck your neighbor (yes girls with guys). Even the Old Testament shares a story about a man who had the hots for a woman, but then he masterbated and “spilled his seed” on a rock. Then it says “it would have been better for him to go hire a prostitute, than to spill his seed.” Even the BIBLE says to go fuck your neighbor.

   Well, what R U waiting for? The preacher’s permission?

   To answer the post, don’t be so hard on yourself. We all make mistakes and have secret challenges. If we look at porn and masturbate, that is idolatry. Not a fun word, but something that can be avoided.

   Most people that struggle with this (myself included) have to be conscious of the times and places that allow us to fall into temptation and avoid them. God knows our struggle and there is NO temptation he did not face while on earth (including sexual immorality). We just have to be open with God and ask him to fill that gap for us.

   Regarding “rock hard” [which I doubt is the case ;)] you need to give your head a shake. That scripture in the old testament was teaching the Israelites the value of their seed. God wasn’t telling them to go unite themselves with a prostitute, he was saying it is just as much a sin to waste their “gift” on the ground as it is with a whore. Much the same as when Jesus said in the New Testament that if you so much as think lustfully about another woman, that you have committed adultery with her in your heart. So in both cases, both are sin.

   Fortunately we are saved by grace through faith, not by works…so even though we struggle with sin, we can come to God and receive grace for our mistakes.

   I’m Christian I believe in God, but I don’t believe in Church. I believe the Church and their interpretations of God’s word is the reason the world is so incredibly screwed up today. I’m a young woman, and I love sex and I love porn. I love to masturbate.     well either way whats important to you in life?     I must say in reading these comments, Christians that have earlier said that They Love God but at the same time Love Porn, Love in the Bible is not an emotion, it is an act of devotion. You can not serve God and Serve the Enemy, If you Love Porn or self-pleasure ( that is masturbation, sex, whatever it may be ) above God. Then there is an issue in your devotion to God.

    Truthfully I tell you, In Jesus Christ we no longer Sin, If we walk according to The Spirit and NOT According to The Flesh. What is our fleshly desires ? There is a place for sex and that is in marriage, for it is better to be married than to burn with passion but walk away from salvation. Sex is not bad nor is it frowned upon in the Church, It is a Holy Gift onto man and Woman in the convent of Marriage. Turn to your Bibles, I only speak what God has revealed to me in His Word, Please don’t compromise on God’s Word it is Absolute Truth.

    God hears Prayers, He hears Calls, He suffers with you, The Silence is opportunity to further seek Him, Just really desire God in your Heart. Seek His Word. When you face such hardships, seek His Word. Jesus Christ came and died then rose again, So that We Could have Relationship with God. Hope this helps,

    AntiLohan – I understand what you are saying but I think you need to look to the Bible to if you were looking to Justify Porn, because Jesus Said

    “28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

    So as far as Pornography goes, it is of Sinful nature. To encourage you know what our pleasures are to be stirred in the correct time and place. Truthfully, do not rush into things, we can not justify things we do by what feels Good, We know through God’s Word what is pleasing to us, isn’t necessarily profitable to us nor beneficial to those around. We were born into sin, Surely our desires would be of a sinful nature. But by Jesus Christ we are enable to see and move past our sinful nature. So we must ask ourselves what do we desire more than anything else, To Love our God and walk in the Love He has Shown us ? or to walk according to a physical desires and away from His Salvation ?, Truthfully when we walk away from our sinful desires by Jesus Christ, We Have Salvation. We are told to repent our way ( Repent is to change not confess ). God is there for you and if God is for you who can stand against you. Let Him alone be your encouragement.
