Reading the comments, you should realise that there are a lot people out there who do not fit into the box, and basically experience the same. People do stare when you are different. My ethnic background is black, but I am very fair, with strawberry blonde hair, freckles and hazel brown eyes. People stare all the time, be it Black, white or whatever. It does not bother me, I just ignore it. I am 5ft 2″ and have always wished that I was taller. I think when you are tall you look very elegant. So please do not hide, as they say you should walk tall and be proud.

People are just jealous at how beautiful you are because they are too short. I am an Asian and I am a bit over 6 foot tall, which is taller than average Asian and actually got comments from people like Asian aren’t suppose to be tall.

There’s nothing wrong with being tall!
It’s just who you are!
Plus, it can have it’s advantages, like being able to reach stuff higher up than some other people.
Maybe this isn’t the most sympathetic comment, but you really shouldn’t let them get to you. If they are ignorant enough to outright hurt your feelings about something so miniscule, then they really don’t deserve your time anyhow!

People will always stare at you. You might as well get comfortable with the idea. I don’t think it is necessarily a form of rejection. It is just that in this particular area, you are unusual. Hey you, stop this nonsense. You are looking things the wrong way! I’m a 6 foot 7 guy, and get the same exact attention as you do. It’s not because they think you’re a freak. You ARE different, as am I. But people look at us with curiosity because we’re unique. It has nothing to do with being a freak, or being ugly or anything like that.

I guess it’s easier for me because I’m a guy. Guys have the same problem when they’re really short, but girls are almost admired for it. It’s all kind of stupid though. When it comes down to it, you are getting lots of attention from people. You just have to change your state of mind. It is something that most women don’t have, and therefore is something to be proud of. Come on! Don’t tell me when you walk into a bar or other social scene, you don’t feel superior as you walk by all these lame shorter people? Being tall is awesome! What you need is to date a football player or something, somebody taller than you, and you’ll be fine. You need to snap out of it, and transcend into the same mentality that tall wrestlers and tall models have. Which is physical superiority.
